A soccer program designed for our community, focused on getting kids playing, learning, and enjoying the game.
Foundations · U6
Record U6 enrollment has allowed us to bring our Foundations program in-house. The program will include four co-ed teams, but everyone will practice and play together at the same time.
Foundations is less about separate teams and more about a group of children and families coming together to play, learn, and enjoy soccer. If your child is not assigned to the same team as a friend, do not worry. They will still see and play with one another throughout the season.
Each player will receive a uniform designed specifically for the program.
The group will remain local and will not travel to play other leagues. There will also be no weekend practices or games, giving families more flexibility and making it easier to see more of their children’s activities.
Get Involved
Nearly 40 children will participate in the program, and a little help from our families will make a meaningful difference.
If you would like to help at practices or games, please reach out directly to your child’s coach. No previous coaching experience is required.
We are also looking for a small group of parents to coordinate snacks for the entire foundations program. With four teams, sharing the responsibility will help keep it simple and organized.
Fall 2026
Important dates and milestones for the upcoming soccer season.
June 7
Final day to register for the fall recreational league.
August 1
Rosters finalized and communicated to families.
Early August
Coaches meet to review the season, prepare equipment, and coordinate field needs.
August 16
The complete fall game schedule will be published online.
Week of August 17
Practice schedules are established and communicated by each coach.
August 22
The fall season begins at Gary Clarke Field and partner league fields.
October 31
The fall recreational season concludes with the final week of scheduled games.

Bear River Recreation and Park District has purchased new age-appropriate soccer goals for Bear River Soccer. This investment, supported by registration fees from our local soccer families, will allow our kids to practice with proper equipment and play league games in our area for the first time.
